Abstract
The article discusses the philosophical work of Roy Bhaskar, founder of the Critical Realism school, on dialectical thinking. It explains the four phases of his philosophical work and his views on dialectic, ethics and social emancipation. It also discusses the work of Otto Laske who applied Bhaskerian dialectics to developmental psychology.
