An unusual case of factitious onychodystrophy

Abstract

Nail disorders are a common dermatologic problem, and when such disorders are self-induced, the diagnosis and treatment can be challenging. We present an unusual instance of factitious onychodystrophy with associated erythronychia of the nail bed.
