The Online Journal of Current Clinical Trials (OJCCT), developed jointly by the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) and OCLC, became available July 1, 1992. The OJCCT differs from other electronic journals in that it includes charts, tables and graphics as well as typeset-quality text. There are advantages and disadvantages to this new medium. In addition, many issues involving access to electronic journals and use of them are raised.
