Abstract

Tritium aging characteristics of a melt-spun Pd0.94Rh0.05Co0.01 foil have been determined. Typical behavior is observed in that plateau pressure depression and heel growth is noted. Some healing of the decay damage resulted from the first absorption-desorption cycle, but the material is thereafter stable to cycling. Hysteresis is significantly reduced by aging.
